Astronomy Lab 1
.http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/astronomy/. This is a great site. It’s full of useful information. It clearly explains concepts in depth and also provided great visuals. It has fun links as to how old you would be on other planets! This is my favorite site…links work great.
.http://www.kidsastronomy.com/academy/index.htm. Another great site! This site is geared toward kids, but has great value for a rookie like myself. The site provided large volumes of information; it also offers free online classes, where you can earn certificates. Great images and all the links worked well. I will visit it again.
.http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.htmlthis I like this sight because the pictures are real and up to date. Best site for images found thus far. Very user friendly and all links worked well.
.http://www.dustbunny.com This is another great site for kids. Site was easy to navigate and great images. It gives you all the information you need to know in order to buy a telescope as well as to become an observer. I would like to purchase a telescope in the near future. Site is great due to its basics for the beginner astronomer
.http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html. This is a really cool site because it has real time astronomy pictures. It also had an endless amount of education information on astronomy. Site was very user friendly.
.www.astronomy.com Great resources on astronomy. It was very user friendly. However, you had to subscribe to read the articles. This is still a good site with all the images.
.http://www.astronomy.net/. I’m an image type of guy. This site has some great images. A little tough at first getting but the links were very good.
.http://www.wunderground.com/sky/index.asp. Cool site. Just type in your zip code and I charts everything out for you. This was a very user friendly website. All you had to do was click on star and you get all the useful information....
