People’s materialistic needs are met chiefly by shopping. Shopping is not a new task in human’s life. At first, it was bartering that let people have what they want. That was not satisfying, thus coin was created, and so was the paper money a few centuries later. Traditional way of shopping has been going on without any rival for centuries, but as human’s technology was improving, new ways of shopping were being invented. Telephone and internet are two major new ways that have came along the traditional way to help the customers shop in their desired way.
The traditional way of shopping is the oldest type, through which customers have to leave their houses, get to the shop, searching for what they want, while they are walking along aisles. If it is garment that they want to buy, they can try it on, and check if they like it. They can spend their free time shopping, and avoid boring moments in today’s small apartments. They can compare two or more products, and choose the most reasonable one. They have an alternative for paying besides paying in cash, which is paying with credit cards. It seems the traditional way has some characteristics that are unique to it.
Telephone is another way of shopping these days, which serves those people who does not have enough time to leave their offices or homes, off to a shop. The person can watch tele-shop televisions, which expose the viewers to numerous number of products, in a cogent way. Most of these channels give you some telephone numbers that you can order what are shown on TV through which. You call them, give them your address, and the product will be delivered to you at home, and you pay them when you have the product in your hand.
