To date, Intersect Investment Services has been a relatively strong player in the financial services arena. Currently, this organization is shifting its operational paradigm from high-volume calls to yield sales to highly-customized services to close customers. The CEO, Frank Jeffers, along with the support of the board of directors are confident that this change will provide Intersect Investment Services with the staying power and market share to weather the volatile winds of the financial services industry.
Intersect Investment Services faces both internal and external factors that require a quick and well-executed response. The internal factors include employee confusion and dissatisfaction, decreased motivation, and changing leadership. External factors that require action include changing customer needs and decreasing industry credibility. The leadership is working diligently to not only survive but realize opportunity to thrive through the change process.
The Intersect Investment Services scenario outlines an interesting set of circumstances surrounding the current state of the organization and how it is considering overcoming the imminent issues created by events in the recent past.
