CoffeeTime is an established coffee chain located in the United States and in Europe. It is known to be famous for roasting world’s finest coffee and sells many variety of coffee drinks and snacks. Due to globalization and many trends that make the coffee industry profitable, regional areas of South Asian country of India, makes the plan to market coffee a smart and sensible decision. Since India has been chosen to be included in the CoffeeTime program as a possible market to enter into, so many issues will be arising for manager before making his final executive decision. In the last decade or so India has emerged as a powerful economy in Information Technology and outsourcing work that it has acquired in the technical field of businesses from the United States. According to an online article Doing Business in India by author William B. Chapel, states “India is the world's largest democracy and is rapidly becoming one of the most attractive developing nations for doing business. This attractive business environment came about largely because of political and economic reforms that provide foreign investors with incentives for doing business in India. Due to these reforms, U.S. firms and businesses from other countries have taken advantage of the opportunities there; today the United States is currently the largest foreign investor in India.” (Chapel, 1997 Online article p.1).
India has a strong English speaking background thanks to British, where the business practices can be handled without too much difficulty in communication, as it is the main language for communication for national, political and business/commercial use purposes.
