Personal Growth
After finishing High School, I did not take college seriously. I quickly realized after working hard on a couple of low paying jobs, that I needed a degree. I thought enough of myself and my future to go back to school and finish my Bachelor’s degree in Business. I am currently working on my Master’s of Administration, which is personal growth for me and will benefit any company I may represent.
I placed personal growth at the top of my list because we grow and learn every moment of everyday. Rather, it is in my personal life or in the workplace, I will change with every new experience. Each experience enhances my capabilities by giving me something new to draw upon. Personal growth is most important to me, I will not limit myself. I will take a chance. I will accept all invitations and I will celebrate growth.
Self-Determination
As a child I was told that because of my environment, I was not going to accomplish any of my goals or dreams. I was determined to prove everyone wrong. My godmother taught me that it was my responsibility to set the standards for the type of quality of life I desired to have. I can not blame anyone for my failures and I can not fight against everyone who mistreats me. I am committed to have peace and happiness in my life. Self-determination is the second most important, because there are no guarantees in life. But one sure thing is that you will get back what you give out. I was taught that if I give 100 percent of my attention, energy and time to a task, I will get exactly that back. When you are determined to work hard and not give up, there is no way anyone can fail.
