      Why was The Constitution necessary in the development of our country?

      In any great society establishment, rules and regulations, in the form of guidelines, must be profound in order for the establishment to be able to stand tall; the United States of America is no different. The Constitution is important for the development of the United States for a great number of reasons; primarily because it was the document that founded our government and made the United States flourish and because it satisfies American citizens; it outlines all of our rights as citizens of the United States, as well as provides protection. The Constitution is also important because it makes us as people, overall, happy; which we know that Americans are pleasure oriented.

      The Constitution and its amendments protect us in many ways. It gives a complete list of all the things that we can do, and the rights that we have. It provides protection from each other, our own government, and it protects us from wrongful prosecution, incriminating ourselves, our right to speech, and our right to freedom of religion. It is what holds our national government together. It helps decide laws that ensure peace in the United States. The Constitution provides a complete list of rights that Americans hold and exercise to the fullest potential because its what makes The United States a dominate force.

      Freedom of Speech: Liberty to express opinions and ideas without hindrance, and especially without fear of punishment. We have all heard of the phrase that “America is a country of the free”; we could say whatever we want.
