The Meaning of History

What do we mean by history?

The meaning of history is a record of events that are not to be forgotten.   It is the knowledge of facts and events that have happen in the world.   That you will never be forgotten events, particularly of those affecting a nation, institution, science, or art, and usually connected with a philosophical explanation, which relate simply the facts and events of each year, in strict chronological order; from biography, which is the record of an individual's life; and from memoir, which is history composed from personal experience, observation, and memory. It defines some different cultures and believes. However, in the bible states that history since we are reincarnated, we get multiple chances to get it right. And “getting it right” means becoming one with the cosmic consciousness. So, there is no end it just keeps going around and around. And there is no overall purpose. History is just the context in which the person evolves to a higher or a lower state.

In history the search for the truth?

The search for truth it is something that is memorable and it will always be true.   It is like the election of our new President Obama.   He is the first color person to serve as President.   The momentum will never been forgotten.   It is something that will be true and will always be in every ones life. It is possible that you are able to find out the truth of history and find out comes that happen.   It is a historical event that was reached to a top level of recognition.   The event that have occurred in history are written in stone and hard cover books.  
Is our understanding of what we mean by history dependent on our own societal background (does it matter where we live or where we grew up)?
It does not matter where we live or where we grew up.   I think that history is in every era.   Sometimes history events that have occur repeats them self over and over.   Like war back then and it is happening write now....
