Club IT is a new downtown music venue that brings high-energy to the nightclub life. The nightclub was open with the following mission statement: “We Ruben and Lisa offer you live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT”. (Wiley Higher Education, 2006). Tuesdays through Thursdays the club has a Live DJ, Friday and Saturday the hire live bands. Club IT uses a collection of MP3 playlist, including hip-hop, techno and electronic with some Top 40s. There are flat screens TV’s that shows music or dance videos. The different selection of music caters to different types of clientele to enjoy nightlife at an upscale nightclub. Club IT seats for 230 customers and has appetizers and bar for refreshments. The clientele of Club IT ranges from single adults, young couples, college students, tourists and business travelers. The club has been going great with the owners Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada having graduated in 2005 with degrees in Business Administration and also having background as musicians the club is thriving but there are some business problems that need’s some enhancement.
        I was recently hired as the intern for one of hottest spots downtown called Club IT. My duties are to perform a full analysis of the clubs functional areas, information resources the clubs mission and customer relationship. This is to ensure that Club IT owners Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada are living up to their mission of: “We Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT”.
