Tv Violence
My point of view on TV violence
TV violence is often viewed on having negative effects on the community by adults but is often viewed exciting by teenagers. According to my point of view I agree to both point of views as both are views are reasonable but in different situations. But in the end the end TV violence still have negative effects on society.
I agree with the people who believe that it has a negative effect on the community as TV violence is usually popular with teenagers who are easily influenced by peers and television. As teens watch TV violence some of them want to be violent for fun and do violent actions and thinks it is alright. TV violence is also has a negative on the community because usually teens watch TV violence but sometimes they introduce it to their younger siblings who are too young and are underage to watch be exposed to violence on TV. Viewers of TV violence who are underage are more influenced by TV and peers and most of them shall become violent without understanding the consequences of their acts.
TV violence can also cause people to become bloodthirsty and do dangerous things e.g. violent acts, stabbings etc. People who are more exposed to violence can end up having end up being very anti-social as the media emphasises on conflict and violence. It can create a want to become an anti-socially behaved character as models in modern day TV violence are thugs, gangsters and psychopaths and are often looked up to.
I also believe that people who watch TV are also influenced by it. Many a times, I have seen people trying wrestling moves out on each other. Most of the times the people get angry and get into a serious fight. When they get injured they start whining about who started it, but that can’t help them. In older people there might even be serious injuries like fractures, bruises or even dislocation.
In some cases, television violence causes peer pressure. Friends of a certain person might make him watch things he doesn’t...
