Introduction and paper plan
This paper is made to display description, analysis and criticism to English Language Course of the Second Preparatory Year in Egyptian General Schools. It contains three sections which are description, analysis and criticism in addition to the introduction and conclusion.
In the description section, I will introduce a moderately detailed description to the main four components of this course which is necessary to give background and better understanding to the aims and the nature of each component and how it is organized and how it contributes in the process of teaching and how it considers the mental processes that happens in the students' brains when they are exposed to the educational situations within this course. It was also important to describe these four components to introduce a basis on which I will build the second section which is analyzing the contents of the course.
In the analysis section, I will introduce a general and detailed, but not in a redundant way, analysis to the whole course .This analysis will include an outline to the twenty-four units and the eight revisions that are supposed to be taught round the school year along with their aims in addition to giving a quick glance on the vocabulary, structures and...
