There will be some that will have unwanted reactions. Some of those reactions may be the cost. Some may ask how will this Café benefit Digifast. And most importantly, how can this boost morale for the employees. Equipments for a café are expensive. How can we look for a qualifying café manager and cook?
I would overcome the committee member’s objection for having a Café in the building by being honest. Use statistics such as high volume traffic in our location during lunch time. Using a graph to show how many of our employees is late coming back from lunch. Also using statistics to show how other companies have benefited by having a Café. I will also prepare a fiscal year projection for the income that can be generated. Health wise, I will give statistics on obesity in the United States. And show how the Commons Food Court will have delicious and healthy foods.

Hi Jason,
I wanted to inform you of an idea about having a Café on the 1st floor. Statistics have shown that having a deli/café in the building increases morale. Employees are not stressed for leaving at lunch. I hope that we can get together soon to discuss this idea. I was thinking more of having selections such as fruits, vegetables, and snacks. In addition to serving a hot breakfast or have a quick breakfast sandwich. Lunch could be salads, sandwiches or hot lunches. The serving time could be from 7am-6pm. I do understand that some people may work overtime or late on occasions. I think we should extend the time to 6pm. Of course the prices will be reasonable and customary. Let me know what you think about my idea.
Thanks,
