What Makes A Good Teacher?



My name is Jessica Krause. I’m married to Blake Krause, and we have two 12 year old girls named Willow and Palmer. We make an income of $2,710.00 a month. This is how we make a living!
Housing
We live in a two story home in Powell, Tennessee. It features two level living with vaulted ceilings. We have a hot tub and an in-ground pool. The cost of our home is $149,700.00. We chose this home because it is close to schools and provides fun entertainment throughout the seasons.

2. Utilities
CELL PHONES-
My husband and I chose a bundle at Verizon Wireless. We have Blackberries and Willow and Palmer have enV 1’s. The cost of our monthly bill, with unlimited texting and a share of 2,000 minutes, is $150.00.
KUB-
Our monthly KUB bill is $80.00. We chose to not use as much electricity because we want to be conservative.

HALLSDALE-POWELL   UTILITY DISTRICT-
Our HPUD bill is $105.00. We have a in ground pool so we have to fill it up a few times a year.

CABLE/INTERNET-
We chose to get a bundle with internet and cable. We have 100 channels and we chose this plan because we don’t need a home phone. The cost is $115.00.

3. FOOD
We are able to spend $333.00 on food each month. We shop at Ingles and we have an “Ingles Advantage Card” where we save money. I use a lot of coupons that lower our price by $6.00.

We as a family decided that Willow and Palmer are responsible enough to stay home after school from approximately 3:30 to 5:00 by themselves. My husband and I go out once a month and pay our baby sitter $5.00 an hour from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
