Globalization's more positve effects

Globalization has had a more positive than negative affect on bringing the World’s populations together

The process of globalization unites the peoples of the world more than it divides them.   There are many other ideas that are contained within globalization that help to bring the people of the world together, one is the Non-governmental Organization (NGO), some examples are the Red Cross and Green Peace (Bentley-Ziegler 1154).   The basic principles of these NGOs missions are based on of joining people in a common cause, educating the world’s population, and uniting them together.   There are also many different innovations, new technologies, and affects on cross-cultural globalization far outweigh the problems.
Within the arena of globalization, many of the results are positive.   One such benefit is medicine and medical technologies.   New medicines are developed and tested in order to ensure the best medical care is available worldwide.   While detractors of globalization argue these medicines are not available, and globalization only causes problems, this is not the complete truth, they are widely available; accept through the desire for higher profits, which make them unattainable, and a lack of concern for the citizens of the nations by their governments, in which the medicines and medical technologies are unavailable.   When governments are not willing to ensure that these things are available to its citizens, this may prevent the dissemination to the people.   However, it is not a downside to globalization, but simply the joining and bridging of distances between the people of the world.   When people throughout the world need medicines and technologies, there are many people the world over that step in and provide assistance to those countries that are in need.   When this happens, the people providing the help and those who receive it join and an exchange takes place.   This show of unity over something so basic certainly is not a division.
