An Important Leader.

When you ask me to describe an important leader I would have to say it is Margaret Thatcher.   Although it’s hard to imagine how to best describe this prominent woman in such a short period of time, I’ll try.
First, when I think of   Margaret Thatcher, it comes to my mind that she’s the embodiment of all virtues: industriousness, ambitions, intelligence that make people a   leader. the woman who first hold the post of Prime Minister in the UK, could accomplish that only by her tremendous commitment. She came to power when England was no longer a hegemony and it was in fact a bankrupt country. Margaret Thatcher changed the economic policy, reducing   government intervention, making private enterprise to prosper. As the result, the United Kingdoms   regained its lost power.
Second, it is notable that the first feminine Prime Minister is also known as Iron Lady because of   rigidity of her character. Ms. Prime minister was harshly criticized when she made unpopular decisions, which were though crucial for the future of her nation. Her character is the admired one, it is believed that she only slept for four hours per day. Margaret Thatcher is the best example of self made woman ,as the result she became the ideal for many generations of ambitious women.
Finally, Margaret Thatcher was not only an important leader for her country but also an important figure in the world politics. For instance, she held her post when the period, known as the Cold War , was almost over. In fact, she played an significant role in warming relations between the US and   the Soviet Union.
In sum, I hope that this short essay has managed to paint an adequate picture of this great woman. There are so much women in 20th century who we can   be proud of. Undoubtedly, Margaret Thatcher is the one of them. The women who changed the world.
