      My ethnic group would be African Americans, we as a group has been through so much for to long.   Prejudice and racism have been very important issues for several decades now. During the 1950s and 1960s, African Americans living in the northern portion of the United States also experienced racism and discrimination, although generally the problems that these people endured were not as oppressive as those that African Americans faced in the South. Many white and black Ohioans actively sought to reform the South, joining organizations, such as the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and the Congress on Racial Equality, and participating in protests across the South, including the Freedom Summer Project of 1964.   (Kneeper 2003)   Racism was becoming a big problem for many African Americans.   Many whites form a group called the klu klux klan; this group did not like black people and did many violent things to them sometimes that led to death.   Racism has been around for so long it has slowly become a tolerance for many African Americans.   Many black was considered to be lazy and stupid and were called a very cruel work.   For many years after the Civil War, when blacks were set free, the black population was almost never treated equal until around the late nineteenth century.
The dual labor market theory was developed to address problems of underemployment and urban poverty not captured in models of neoclassical economics.   Essentially, it is argued that the economy can be divided into two sectors—primary and secondary—based on job characteristics.   The primary sector contains good jobs with high wages, good work conditions, and job stability.   It also had better chances for promotions and they were governed by administrative.   This sector was mostly for whites.   The secondary sector contains less desirable jobs with low wages, poor work conditions, and, most...
