My First Days in The United States

I will never forget the day when I arrived to the United States because it was a strange feeling.   When I finished my high school I decided to study in United States; it was surprising for my family when I was thinking about that. I determined to study in Nebraska. It is hard to be in other country where people speak different language and different culture. When I reached to New York, I felt that I was in another world because it was very different than my country. I had hard time to communicate with people. I was hungry but I could not order because I had no English words. I left the airport to the hotel by a bus and it was raining and cold. I arrived to hotel and slept all the night. The next day I traveled to Washington DC, where my embassy is there. I got to Washington in the morning; I took the bus, after that went to my embassy to open my file there. I finished at noon. After that I went to airport to get to Nebraska, I arrived at 12 clock, I took a cab to the hotel, and stayed one night there. The next day, I met my host family; they were very kind with me, and I really had hard time to understand them. It was cold and I did not have enough clothes to warm, so my host family took me to shopping. The most wonderful time when I saw the snow because I had not seen the snow before I came to the United States. It is a good experience in my life, I see different people with different thought and culture.
